By using Gathr, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2.1 From Organizers

When you create an account as an organizer, we collect:

Name and contact details

Bank account details for payment settlement can be collected from you by our team

Event information you create on the platform

Transaction and settlement history

2.2 From Attendees

When you register for an event, we collect:

Name and contact details including phone number and email address

Payment information processed through Razorpay

Responses to any custom forms attached to the event

Ticket and booking details

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

Gathr does not use cookies or any browser tracking tools. We do not collect data from users who browse the platform without completing a registration or booking.

We use the information we collect solely to operate the platform and facilitate events. Specifically:

To process ticket purchases and generate tickets

To send booking confirmations, payment reminders, and event updates via email and WhatsApp

To settle payments to organizers

To share attendee information with the organizer of the relevant event

To respond to support queries

We do not use your information for spamming, profiling, or selling it.

4.1 With Organizers

Attendee data collected during event registration including name, contact details, and form responses is shared with the organizer of the event you registered for. This is necessary for the organizer to manage their event and communicate with you about it.

4.2 With Payment Processors

Payments on Gathr are processed through Razorpay. When you make a payment, your payment information is handled directly by Razorpay in accordance with their own privacy policy. Gathr does not store your full payment details.

4.3 With Communication Service Providers

We use third party service providers to send emails and WhatsApp messages related to your bookings and events. These providers process your contact details solely for the purpose of delivering these communications.

4.4 No Sale of Data

Gathr does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties for commercial or marketing purposes.

When you register for an event, your data is shared with the organizer of that event. Gathr does not control or take responsibility for how organizers use the data shared with them. Attendees are encouraged to use their best judgement when registering for events and to only share their information with organizers they trust.

Any concerns about how an organizer has used your data must be addressed directly with that organizer. Gathr accepts no liability for the data practices of organizers.

Gathr does not impose a minimum age requirement on the platform. However, both organizers and attendees are expected to exercise their own judgement about the suitability of events they list or attend. Gathr does not verify the age of users or the age-appropriateness of events and accepts no responsibility in this regard.

We retain your personal information for as long as is necessary to provide our services and comply with our legal obligations. If you would like to request deletion of your data, we will remove your personal information from our systems within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal or operational requirements that may require us to retain certain records.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. The Gathr platform may contain links to third party websites or services, including event pages hosted by organizers. Gathr is not responsible for the privacy practices of any third party. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party services you interact with.

Gathr reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
